Re: Fall Turkey
Congrats on the fall tom. I have watched the same group of 8-9 toms walk under my deer stand every other day for about 4 years now but there isn't a fall season not enough turkeys I guess !

Re: Good Luck Today America - Cannucks are ready for the wal
I just got back from my deer hunt in Kansas and all I saw were trump/pence signs. And everyone I talked to said they were voting trump but if the liberal media asked they wouldn't reply ! At least his sons are bowhunters !!

Re: Bringing deer accross Mich/Ont border
This is from the most rescent reg I could find. If you want to bring in the cape and antlers to mount I believe that 4.2 (2) (d) and (3) (a) and (b) are of interest. Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 Loi de 1997 sur la protection du poisson et de la faune ONTARIO REGULATION 666/98 POSSESSION,...

I have been interviewed by the media before and would never do it again. It is too easy for them to edit your responses and put whatever spin they want to on them.

Re: Turkey shot placement?
I've seen too many body shot birds not get recovered so I aim for the neck area no matter what I shoot and for me so far it's been a dead bird or a missed bird. I also like then in close but don't use a blind much more fun knowing I have to be careful or get busted.

Re: Turkey day molested by the lady warden
Dang when It said molested by the women warden I though maybe it was one of those old playboy reader stories about meeting the hot female warden in the woods and she makes a special case of checking to see that all your weapons function properly! :D However reading it I hate to say she had u by the ...

Re: turkey hunting in the rain
On several occasions I have been driving home in a down pour and seen turkeys standing out in a field. Once I decided to stop and sneak up to them. I got to 15 yards of 2 toms and a hen in the middle of an open field and 2 of the birds had their heads tucked under their wings it was raining so hard ...

Re: Little Brother Draws First Blood !
Thanks guys ! Thats true the exomax seems huge compared to the micro. But seriously the bullheads don't fly that great out of my set up and I didn't want to mess with the scope as it is dead on for my regular broadheads so inside 15 yards it is 1" to right and 2" low so I needed him as tig...

Little Brother Draws First Blood !
I retired the exomax last fall when I purchased his little brother the micro 335 ! Man I was concerned if the micro could keep up with big bro who has killed everything fom moose to rabbits. Well this morning at 0650 the little bro came through killing a nice Merriam's tom at 8 yards. I had the 100g...

Re: Trouble makers at it again!
Sorry to hear about your stands being damaged. Where I hunt there is 200 acres next that the 90 year old landowner has kicked everyone off because of poor hunting practices by some . He asked me to keep an eye out which I do. I have put signs on several stands on his request telling them to please r...

Re: Need help...new to hunting
I was a member for many years but then began to lose interest and when they want to make it a requirement to be a member and follow their rules etc so I can hunt a public forest I lose even more respect for them ! I can just a imagine my buddies in the states if they were told they couldn't hunt on ...

Re: Need help...new to hunting
Maybe things have changed but didn't they make membership in the OFAH a condition to hunting in the Simcoe county forest or has that changed . Its one of the reason I would never be able to hunt there not a member and never will be ! Maybe this is no longer required hope so !
