I finally was able to take the Truglo Titanium X broadheads out and do a little testing with the bigger 2 3/16 rear blades yesterday afternoon at 40 yards. If you're doing the cocking I'd go with a Micro 335 or a Micro 315. My grandsons have killed several deer with the Micro 335's sitting on a Caldwell Dead Shot Field Pod

Congrats on your doe I'm glad everything worked out and you were able to recover her so quickly. I am fortunate to be able to hunt in my backyard at times but usually my wife and grandkids get those opportunities to put some deer down 1st. Congrats again.

I used to bowhunt in the rain also and have killed a couple in the rain but like others have said if it rains hard enough the blood will wash away and then you'll be sort of just blind searching for your deer. I would avoid it if all possible.

The Truglo Titanium X 4 blade even though it is a mechanical it is a great broadhead that you won't have to worry about blades opening also, they are very accurate and very strong you can practice with one over and over in a broadhead target to sight your crossbow in with no damage at all to the bro...
