leopold vx-r vs redfield questions
A couple of questions please. Is it correct that Leopold and Redfield are the same scope with different names? Just like Ford Rangers and Mazda B series trucks are the same vehicles with different names. 2. Everyone's talking about the vx-r. Are there different crosshair options, are they all illumi...

I think they would do great but hope I never have to test that theory. The most I want to shoot through is ribs.mchurch wrote:I shot the Toxic into a target yesterday. They do leave an impressive hole. I am not sure how they would do on a shoulder blade.

Re: shooting aid????
Come on...someone must know what I'm talking about? It's kinda like a grip that allows you to hold your arm resting against your body making it more like shooting off a bench. ????

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
I read on a different forum that these broadheads whistle giving the deer enough warning to run and be well clear of the arrow before it ever reaches them! I'd like to give them a try though, I'll just have to find deaf deer to shoot at. I killed 2 deer this year with the Toxic broadhead th...

Great ideas. That's what I call redneck ingenuity at it's finest...and I do say that in the most positive way possible.

shooting aid????
A few years ago at a national 3D championships it seemed almost all the xbow shooters had these funny rubber looking conglomerations added to their forestocks. This was at a Canadian National shoot in Barrie Ontario in case someone happened to be there and saw them. They all appeared to be custom to...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
I too don't want to sound like a broken record, but you fail to explain why the doe killed with the a Toxic in the video the I mentioned left very little blood trail?????? Cripes !!!!!!!  The broadhead that ALWAYS makes a pass though AND a great blood trail doesn't exist, and never wil...

Re: Broadheads shoot Matrix 380
If you want the heavier foc, and my understanding is you do, aside from the toxic broadhead which only comes in 100-125gr, I've had great success with slick tricks which come in 150gr or 170gr.

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
Ironically, three of the deer that I double lunged and found dead dead in 20-50 yards but no blood trail, were with Montecs!!!!! They shoot great though. After trying many others I'm back to basically the same thing in the Magnus Snuffer SS. A little cheaper and lifetime guarantee. Hard to top that...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
It's hard to swallow that guys would stoop that low as to not look for animals which have been shot at... I couldn't imagine not trailing any deer until it's found of all blood trail is lost. We owe it to the game we take, and where I come from that's meat for our families... I really think it's a ...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
I'm dismayed to read these posts. :( Unfortunately these irresponsible shooters (I don't want to refer to them as hunters) reflect poorly on the rest of us. When you choose to take an animals' life I think you accept a certain amount of responsability and that's not something to take lightly. That's...
