I baked these this morning. I didn’t get a picture of the finished full sized loaves. These are the little loves for my granddaughters.

Re: COVID-19 — restrictions and closures that could impact fishing and hunting
I agree they want me to social distance . Let me sit out in the woods away from other humans . Now I do want the turkeys to ignore the social distance rule though . Punishable by an angry swarm of # 4`s , 5`s and 7`s . :) Do you reload this mixture? Or are they store bought (just went way back in t...

Re: COVID-19 — restrictions and closures that could impact fishing and hunting
River and brook fishing in New Brunswick delayed from April 15 opener. Will be reassessed April 30. I’m worried about our May 1st opener for lakes. I’m really getting antsy to get out and peacefully trolling around and social distancing. I will take BooBoo the Labrador with me. Wayne Here BooBoo is ...

Re: Pandemic Therapy
Any BIG BUCKS hide out in those cedars? :eusa-think: They do. Especially late season in years where we get a lot of early lake effect snow. About once every 10 years or so they are actually yarded down there on the river bottom before the end of the bow season. Yes indeed, that’s the typical deer y...

Oh rub it in! Just read on the NB Natural Resource page our river/brook fishing has been postponed until May1. The lakes have opened May 1 for many years now.....................BUT the DNR say they will assess the opening of the season on April 30  I've got a bad feeling about the start date. ...

Re: finally!
As for the story, they wouldn't come to my call, so I followed the gobble. every now and then he would gobble, or I would use the slate and he would gobble sometimes. every time he would gobble, I would head his direction, and finally walked upon a bluff overlooking a big slough, they were right be...

Re: finally!
Maybe you could tell us your story? Did you use a shot gun or bow? Did he come to the call? What call or calls did you use? After all I have to live this turkey hunting vicariously through all you lucky folks with a season and the fact you actually have enough turkeys.

https://i.postimg.cc/Z560P3gR/IMG-0611.jpg Trying to see if this works for you. Edit; it worked, a beautiful turkey. If you’ve read a few of my posts you’ll see I’ve never been Turkey hunting. Been dreaming about. Our first ever season by draw was supposed to be this May. I’m sure Corona-19 put an ...

Re: Woody's is closing
I know nothing about this store but it seems the way of the future. Small local hunting and fishing businesses closing everywhere. When I was a much younger man/boy I could go into any local general store and buy fishing hooks, spinners, a variety of rifle and shotgun ammo. You might have been able ...
