I hunted with my wife this afternoon out of the grandkids playhouse that faces the woods in our backyard. We had 2 does come in and feed for a little while before 2 bucks came in right before dark. there was an 8 pt that has a messed up main beam and this 7 pt came in and started feeding with the do...

Re: Doe # 2 Hits The Ground
Thanks everyone,
I'm going to sit with my wife this afternoon and maybe she will put a tag on one. She had a buck come out yesterday afternoon right at dark so just had to sit and watch it, I hope one will come out sooner this afternoon and give her a shot.

Doe # 2 Hits The Ground
I went hunting again this afternoon hoping to fill another tag for the freezer. I saw 9 deer including 3 small bucks and I was able to take another big doe. I shot her with my Katana 360 and a Truglo Titanium X at 18 yards. I was 25 ft. in my lockon and I hit her behind the shoulder in the crease an...

Re: Doe down for opening day of archery season
Congrats on a fine doe! I’ve noticed that the wide 2 blade heads deflect when hitting ribs. I've killed a lot of deer with the FOC and most of the time it will punch straight thru making huge holes on the other side. I believe she was trying to duck and get out of the way of the arrow as it hit her.

Doe down for opening day of archery season
I had 3 does come in this morning around 8:30 and 2 of them went straight to my mineral block, I shot the biggest one while it was broadside licking my salt block at 26 yards with my Stryker Katana 360 and a Zombie Slayer tipped with a NAP FOC 170 gr. broadhead. The big doe made it about 100 yards b...
