Re: Pine Bough Trick

I have about 4 acres of pine on 40 acres. Most of the 40 is wooded. They seem to resist our pines all the time. I've even cut pine boughs and fastened them onto a ladder stand. They work good for hiding the stand but the deer pay no attention to it at all. I've hunted other areas with lots of pine a...

Re: Canning!

We've canned almost all of ours for many years. We do pack the cubes into the jay add a little salt and let them cook. You can add lots when you open the cans. You can even make a cold sandwich when you open the jar because the meat is already cooked. Tasty stuff it is.

That was a great story! Congratulations. Aren't those labs smart dogs though?! I love em. On the thing with dads. It sometimes can be difficult to understand but it is not only with divorced parents as some kids grow up with a bad father and that can make life pure Hell. I wish it were never that wa...

I'd try some Scentbuster Dust. I bought some of this stuff not knowing for sure what to expect but have been amazed with the results. Short story. We had a trash barrel my wife complained about it smelling so bad. I checked...and boy oh boy was she ever right! Okay, time to experiment. I just sprink...

Thanks fellas. Now I'm off for that bike ride. I've not rode much as of late so it won't be far but probably 20 miles anyway.
