Re: F.O.C
The shorter the arrow, the more a healthy FOC value will factor into good arrow flight. Mechanicals will be more forgiving of a low FOC value but I'd try to get at least 12-15% if you can ( I like Diesel's 15-17% range). This FOC range is only my opinion. Shoot the set-up you planned on and see how ...

Re: Can u remove the bumpers off of the matrix 380
I'm of the opinion they come from the factory already installed for a reason, not sold as an accessory. That should tell you something. This crossbow is very compact and light compared to the standard Excal line. I think once you have one you won't worry too much about it.

Re: New tunable bolt cutter
I've spent a lot of time and flung a lot of arrows looking at this issue. I see no measurable difference at all in POI.
Also, if you want to index a broadhead the easy way, just slip an o-ring between the head and shaft.

The Second Amendment was authored by our forefathers. It is designed specifically for the protection of citizens against their own government. History has proven time and again, when the people of any nation are disarmed by their government, they effecively become slaves. Our fight, and yours too, i...

Re: Crossbownation
Quite often, products are disqualified through staff testing. Rather than bad mouth them, we say nothing. They simply never make it to print. That's taking the high road IMO. It costs us in advertising, and is an eloquent way of stating an opinion sometimes. Also, our crossbow and product reviews of...

I can attest to Tbrom's statement as 100% true. I am on his staff and those are our exact directions. I know for a fact our collective reviews have cost Todd advertisers and thus money more than once.
I commend him for his integrity and am proud to be in his employ!

I feel for you my Canadian brothers and sisters. This is insane.
We are obviously having our issues here stateside, but we also have the second amendment, over 80,000,000 armed citizens, 300,000,000 plus guns, and the NRA. I feel very fortunate after reading this.

Ok friends. In accordance with the bee's nest getting torn open in a most sad and evil way, we must all take action now. No more talking. If you're not a member already, join the NRA. If you are a member, renew right now for a few extra years or better yet, take advantage of the 300.00 lifetime memb...

Re: e-z fletcher pro...question
It will work. But they have come out with a short-vane version that is better suited to applying an aggressive offset or helix over the 2" distance. Fletching 2" vanes in a standard EZ Fletcher made for 4" and 5" vanes imparts very little offset or helix because the rate of each ...

Re: Assembly Torque
First, you must be an engineer. LOL. Second, I would avoid LocTite or any thread-locker on the main assembly bolts. You will want to dis-assemble the crossbow more than you realize and you don't want to have to break LocTite. A lot of us use a standard double rifle case and take the crossbow apart c...

Re: Ontario Rut... On/Off?
Hey Guys,
The photoperiod dictates the rut 100%. I rarely varies by a few days from year to year. Weather and hunting pressure, and of course the frenzy of the rut itself makes things seem hot and cold for sure sometimes. But once it's triggered, it runs its course with no pause.
