For the Northern prediction, did you mean to write Nov. for the tending phase, instead of October? The tending in October does not jibe with the other phases and it would be a month off as well.

You can get a real Chrony so cheap now that it seems the best way to go. Sportsman's Guide, Cabelas, and Bass Pro sell varoius models for well under a 100 bucks. And unless you own a pro shop and use these things 20 times a day, they will work just fine. JMO.

I have the Tac-Pac and find the handle is too far forward for a tight-tucked control. I'm too shakey when my hold-arm is extended that far out. I will probably take it off and sell it to a buddy. I would like to see one that could mount up on the forearm area..
