I saw this big guy at last light one night but never got a shot at him. Didn't realize how big he was until he showed up on my camera the following night. I will be hunting for him and him alone until December 31st!!!

The speed dial does not effect your shots using the cross hairs. It is only used when you start moving back and try to get the other markings to match your 30, 40, etc. shots. Once you have it zero'd in at twenty, try moving it to 30 or 40 before you move directly to 60. It is much easier to get the...

Good job finding the doe. I had a similar tracking experience years ago. Ever since then I do all I can to ensure my shot placement is the best that it can be. Went back and did a little calculating based on my hunt log spreadsheet. I guess I am going to like the morning more from now on...... I see 1 buck for every 2 does in the morning. In the evening I see 1 buck for every 6 does. I like the morning ratio much more!!!

Michigan had a minimum age of 10 years old. They eliminated it 4 years ago and now have a program called "Mentored Youth Hunting". In other words it's just another tag for daddy to fill. Crazy!!
