We shoot a couple dozen a year, our property is full of them. Excalibur or vertical bow, I put a sonic broad head in line with the back of the front leg and 1/3 to 1/2 into the body, depending on elevation I am at.

Our Matrix 380 has a lot of power, easy to use and has been trouble free for over 1000 bolts easy. It's not the smallest or lightest but it makes up for a little more bulk in simplicity, reliability, accuracy and power.

Update from my situation. I went 5-hours to our ranch and did everything Spypoint said. They "guaranteed" it would work. Well it didn't. Not being able to make too many more 5-hour trips for camera maintenance, I bought another one (same camera). Got someone to take it to the ranch for me....
