Re: What ya got for Binoculars?
I did a search for binoculars on the forum a while back and read every thread that came up. There is a long thread titled binoculars I believe. After doing all the reading and handling the Steiners and a nice set of Vortexs I went with ZenRays. If I remember right they are the Summit HD's about $240...

Re: Tag Soup.
I really feel for you guys on the forum who live in places where your hunting is made even more difficult because you only get one deer. Do I shoot it or not? Shoot or not! Shoot it or not!!!! That would drive me nuts. It hard enough to find decent bucks much less decide whether you will see...

Re: Doe bleats, grunt calls & rattling?
Another aspect to calls which I think some other people have sort of touched on. If you are in a stand or way up a tree a call might make them curious on the first use or draw them in if they are pretty far out but if they pinpoint the source they know there isn't a deer up in the tree and you're bu...

Re: New X-Bow Set Up Help Requested
Before you start shooting check to make sure the vanes on your bolts will clearing your wrapping job on your stirrup. I wrapped my stirrup with some camo gun wrap I had, but discovered that the vanes clip the wrapping. I saw this in another posts somewhere. I had to unwrap the center section in fron...

Re: Baiting
I am a long way from you but most people feed corn here. Up until a few years ago baiting was illegal. Now that it is legal it doesn't seem to change a lot of what I see because everyone puts out corn or supplements. So what people thought would make hunting much easier didn't really change hunting ...

My father in law lived in Texas and had a box blind on the ground about 50 yards from his feeder. Easy chair with swivels. Little heater and a bottle of A&A. Like hunting from an apartment, very comfortable
