Re: TARGETS TARGETS TARGETS....and BENCHES
Unfortunately due to the effects of West Nile I'll not be able to make it this year . I've yet to shoot an arrow this year. Fatigue sets in real quick cranking bows and fetching arrows from target.

Serial Number Rant!
Lets have a show of hands for those that enjoy the Perp walk to the till at Canadian Tire when you want to buy a box of 22 shells or a Swiss Army Knife. Excalibur has rolled belly up and is giving the Government away to "Register" our bows, away for the Government to record who bought it. ...

Re: excaliber wolverine
Don't forget - use only Dacron strings! As for sighting in your Wolverine. If you have the same Tasco 2.5X scope that came on my Wolverine in 1987. I'm using an arrow weights around 430 grains. For the 3D target range, I have my Wolverine is set it up like this - centre cross-hairs @25 yds, then whe...

Bugs!
Things are slowly starting to warm up, just a reminder get and use bug repellent during your outdoor work/play activities. https://i.imgur.com/NClAYXq.jpg The prevalence and range of Lyme and West Nile is steadly increasing. I'm now in month 10 with West Nile, no treatment or end in sight. The chron...

Re: Quiver on or off when hunting?
I used a hip quiver until I got the Exocet c/w a quiver. The quiver attachment bracket is attached to my day pack. I never liked the 'extra weight' or the 'off balance' feel of a quiver full of arrows hanging on my bow. KISS

Re: Length of Excalibur ownership?
I bought my first, a Wolverine @ Lake Huron Rod & Gun, in Sept. 1987. My Aunt passed away leaving my a $1000 in her will, spent the whole wad on bow, scope, arrows, broadheads, case & the newest Treebark camo. I still have the bow and it still makes it out of storage for a round or 2 of targ...

The 380's are my go to bow's. I've had them for just over 2 years, no issues with either of them. https://i.imgur.com/e5yFsItl.jpg I still think the Lynx is the 'prettiest' bow they have ever made  . https://i.imgur.com/zLqr567l.jpg I do like how small and compact my Suppressor is but, the 380...

Only 3 times here . The chronic fatigue and other crap with this West Nile Virus has kept me from my usual outdoor activities.

Re: Crossbow level
Lots of cheap options on ebay & amazon but the shipping costs are retarded. Cheapest option I could find in the local hardware store was a string line level. I carefully took it apart with a set of side cutters . Used silicone to attach to riser. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/...

OT -Hunters Orange Dog Vest
I've been looking for a hunter's orange vest for my beagle pup. She's mostly brown in colour and is really hard to see in in the fall under growth. I've asked at pet stores etc. and have only found hunter's orange collars available. Anyone know of a store in SW Ontario or an on-line location? Want t...
