Re: Tick tick tick tick
What is good for kids? My 3 year old grandson plays outside in the grass for hours. My daughter and son-in-law check him, but protection from ticks is needed. Thanks! Bob UPDATE: I just found some stuff on Amazon from Sawyer in a blue package with 20% Picaridin. OK to use on skin. I have to have my ...

Re: Relayer Y25 what do you use yours for?
I just purchased a Y25 Relayer stock and plan to build it into a USEABLE bow. I was thinking of a Vixen II or Phoenix rail. Anyone have other ideas? Thanks!

Re: scope problem on 350 SE
I looked at my Matrix 350 and Deadzone and decided to trade in the Deadzone while it was still new in the box. NEPabowhunter advised me to use the medium Warne rings and I ordered them too (they are steel). Dan Miller traded me and I'm getting a Leupold VX1 2-7x33 Heavy Duplex Shotgun reticle scope....

Re: Buying a Rainsuit - Any Recommendations?
I always carried a surplus camo poncho. This was new, US military, not foreign junk. It was woodland camo, rip-stop, and large enough to cover me, a back pack and any weapon. It rolled up very small and I always carried it in my backpack. It didn't cause me to overheat on warm days. The double umbre...

Re: Which Crossbow
Any Excalibur is good for hunting. I would try holding one to see which Excalibur you like best and fits you best. Ask a lot of questions about the crossbow, it's operations and all accessories. Good luck.

Matrix 350le side bubble tags
My Excalibur Matrix 350le arrived today from Canada and I'm happy with it. I'm glad I ordered it when I did! I'll probably order a couple of upgrades for it from Dan Miller. The only thing on it I would like to see changed is to have Matrix 350 on the side. It now says Excalibur. If anyone decides t...

Re: Which Way is Your Fletching R or L
I'm right handed and I make my own aluminum arrows in left hand fletch Bitzenberger fixtures, offset, using left hand feathers I've been doing this since the early 90's for compound bows and have continued doing this for the crossbow arrows. I use Blazer vanes on crossbow arrows and feathers on recu...

Re: Rough knife problem
I've cleaned rust off guns with Kroil and OOOO steel wool. Rub lightly and it does NOT take off blue. I cleaned a WWII gun and civil war cap and ball revolver, both rusted & pitted and it took off the rust but not any bluing. The pitting is always going to be there unless you grind it down and I...
