Re: Danny Miller
I've only dealt with Dan Miller a couple of times but he will do right by you! I will continue to deal with him. Great prices and great info.

Re: Rail Oil question....
Oil attracts dirt and dust and can get into the trigger assembly. Wax can get in the trigger assembly and gum it up. I used white gas (Coleman fuel) to clean my Timney triggers and only lubed them with lighter fluid. Timney recommends this. Check it for yourself. Some manufacturers recommend a dry s...

Life is too short to buy a Hawke. Buy a Zeiss (or Leupold) and be done with it.

Re: what illuminated scope to upgrade to?
Leupold shotgun scope for the paralax is the way to go. I always used a 2-7 power set on the low power. Not illuminated but it transfers light well and there is no battery to die at the wrong time. Good hunting!

Re: Slug Gun Question-UPDATE
The H&R with heavy barrel in both 12 and 20 gauge and the 870 are both good guns. Either will serve you well. Millet or Warne rings are easy to use and I used Leupold 2-7 variable shotgun scopes. Good hunting.
