Re: Deer And Deer Sightings
I have seen Deer on most of all my sits this year. I do a lot hunting in Southeastern region of Pa. I hunt mostly on private land which I control and the other is friends of mine which is also private. I do have property in the Northcentral part of the state and I see Deer a lot not many but they ar...

Re: Bear Hunt
I took my first Bear with a Vortex and stock arrows with NAP Spitfire Max 125 grain. I now shoot a Micro 335. The xbow you have should have no problem taking a Bear with it. It's all in placement of the shot and nerves. Good luck

Re: Spitfire XXX
Have not used them but I am a big fan of NAP broadheads. The one I use and like is the Spitfire Max 125 grain and Quill arrows with Lumenoks. I have many pass thru's. When you run out of the ones you have pick a pack up. Try getting them from Dicks Sporting Goods you get 4 for the price of 3 any whe...

Re: Recovery Rates With Crossbow
Like some of the other guys said is being patient. One thing I learned hunting with my xbow is you do have a better chance when the Deer stops and you are ready but you don't have a shot.when hunting with compound you are at full draw and now you can't move without spooking the Deer and then there i...

Re: Width??? Has it been a problem?
I also have had a Vortex and we're able to shoot Deer out of a tree and a Bear also. I do like the Micro I have and it does give you a bit more freedom in taking shots. I do twist my body around the tree and having a smaller xbow does help. It also is better in a blind too. I'm happy with both of my...

Re: buy from amazon
I picked my Micro 335 with 4 arrows, quiver, scope and cocking aid from Ebay and I got a real good deal. It was new in the box plus I got another half dozen arrows and the octane case plus free shipping to my door for $925 bucks. In the past I also got a real good deal when I purchased my Vortex and ...

Re: Tree Harness
To all, Like I stated before that years back I did not wear and safety harnesses at all. I make sure that the the guys I hunt with that we all wear them and if I don't know you you I stress that who ever you are is to wear them. Not sure if anybody has a friend or someone you know die because they d...

Re: Tree Harness
A lot of the accidents are from getting into and out of the hang on stands. One thing is that is good now is the industry is pushing the safe lines which are great if you are using hang on ones. At $30. They are well worth it. One other harness I picked up is HSH hanger harness. This is strictly for...
