Thanks for the information Warningshot. It is odd that the information appears on the crossbow forum before it appears on our own atv forum. Go figure. Thanks. i think you will find that a lot of insurance companies removed the tax back as far as April 2004...when the taxes came off the auto...

in actual fact, Bass Pro charges an extremely fair and competitive price for the excalibur products that they sell (although sometimes they lack some technical expertise for the complete line of products that they offer)...we have to be careful as we compare to those that try to monopolize the total...

If possible, I would have had them send a scope and rings along with the screws for the mount. Having accessories designed, built and proven for your equipment is hard to beat. I wouldn't put Honda parts on my Harley  i've put lots of honda parts on my harley  .... my buddy has one but...

The Butler Creek 48.0 mm fits the front of the Lumizone. We didn't have one in stock that fits the back, but since the 43.2 mm is a bit too tight (goes over the very end but not the knurled ring) and the 45 mm is too loose, I'm guessing something around 44 mm would be perfect. Pydpiper - do you rem...

Boo, I agree with paying extra for service and have no problem with that. Most of their "big ticket" stuff like bows and guns are comparably priced with other retailers but it's the smaller stuff that has me scratching my head sometimes. I was in the market for a Buck Vangaurd knife at on...

bheads dont fly the same normally because they are either wider or longer than the fieldpoints you use. Which throws the balance slightly forward which will normally cause the bolt/arrow to hit a inch or 2 lower. Or the blades on the head catch the wind and cause the bolt to drift right or left. Fi...

bj, Thats exactly what I did. With my hunting locations in mind I sighted in the 30 yard marker to hit dead center. Now I'm hitting: 20 yards: 1" low 30 yards: dead center 40 yards: 1" high 50 yards: ~1" high I can live with those numbers. I can aim dead center and keep the bolt in a...

sounds like you've got an exceptionally fast bow (350+++) and that's not unusual...try this... - crank the dial to 350 - set the crosshair so that it is shooting about an inch low at 20 yards...i've had to do this with one other bow - if you can live with the 1" low at 20 yards, the rest of the...

I know this is going to sound a little overboard but it is very simple .Put your bow on a steady rest ie. between two tool boxs on your picnic table . Put a level across the limbs so you know that it is perfectly horizontal ,now walk out to 20 yds. and hang your cocking aid or other suitable hangin...
