If I recall correctly a gen 1 riser, would be subject to 1/2 more power stroke over the gen 1. And it's been done at 5/8? No problem?
Don't quote my numbers I'm at work, brain on a different path

Re: Micro rail swap
Sorry guys, it's GEN 2. I had thought if going with a GEN 1riser, I just wasn't sure how charted the territory was.

Micro rail swap
Say for instance, a fella just can't leave well enough alone. I'm looking to get another rail for my Micro 335, and have it cut to The same or similar to The Micro 355. I like the look of my 335 much better than the black, but I loved the feel of the hit from the 355. And the tinkerer in me is just ...

Re: Waxed dental floss on serving?
I prefer the little sticks that have the floss strung between them. More convenient, as it's usually a last minute thing before the dentist appointment.

Re: 2016 Excalibur Micro 355 Limb Issue
Picked up a gen2 335 yesterday. Left it cocked over night, woke up this morning to lines like those on one limb. Not the end of the world, probably wouldn't have even noticed had I not seen those pics yesterday.

Re: Packaged Zombie Slayers box opening review
Luck of the draw I guess... and that's my luck as usual lol.
I should clarify, the inserts are centered, and there is no wobble. There just seems to be a bit more adhesive spilled out. Not nearly as bad as the diabloss and quills. It scrapped off clean, no worried there.

Re: Packaged Zombie Slayers box opening review
Yep definitely the route to go. I just want to post my finding so that readers could see there is a concernable difference between qualities. With all the discussion of zombie slayers, a new reader could easily grab a box of any brand off the shelf and get inferior results to what is often mentioned...

Packaged Zombie Slayers box opening review
With all the hoopla about Zombie slayers these days I grabbed a box at 20% off from EastHill Outdoors for fathers day. Easthill was awesome and in no way should this reflect on them. They cut 3 of the 6 down to 15" for me. The service is great there. But the arrows... all of the orange vanes ar...

Re: 18 inch diablo arrows weight
no, they are hollow tubes . There are front inserts, and rear Nocks glued or pressed into the tube to make up the arrow. Changing those components are a common way of customizing the characteristics of the arrows.

Re: 18 inch diablo arrows weight
I have these ones I got off Amazon. They are a bit loose by 1/1000" but they set nice and are square. Made by goldtip. The stock insert measures .300 exactly where these measure .2985 or something right at the top, but ,300 at the base. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c7/janesy01/Mobile%20Upl...

Re: 18 inch diablo arrows weight
You can remove the insert and replace it with a brass, heavier insert. Not sure a 50 exists, but I have some 80's that I have installed into Diablo before. There are many ways to remove the old insert, usually involving heat in some way
