Re: matrix blew apart

Unfortunate to hear but Excalibur's support is second to none. I'm sure you'll be well cared for. I don't believe I have heard of this happening before so it seems a rare situation.

Re: Taczone question

Yes the new and improved Tact Zone scope is excellent !! My brother and I had the older version with the fish eye effect , and the eye relief problem... I brought both scopes back and exchanged them for the newer version.. The only reason I don't buy another is because they are guaranteed for life ...

Re: Anyone buy a 380 and wish they had the 355? or the oppos

Shoot both if you can. I got the 355 and have no regrets. But I would suggest getting the ADF for it just in case.

Re: tac zone scope

Great deal MH.I just purchased a used one also($57) to try and see if I like it.It didn't come with rings so I assume I'll need the 30mm? Yes. You will need 30mm rings. I keep looking through mine and can't find anything wrong with it. I'm quite pleased to be honest. Haven't shot in really low ligh...

Re: Matrix Barrel Question

I"m curious about this also but I'd like to take my 355 down to a 330 with a barrel swap (I don't want to cut my rail down). I wonder if Danny Miller will have barrels for sale after the complete bows are on the market of course. I was actually curious about the same thing. I'm sure the 380 an...

Re: Here's what's sad

Has anyone in IL been checked in the field for max draw weight? I'm not saying anyone should flaunt the rules but I've only ever seen the low end checked on vertical bows.

Re: Said goodby to my dog today

Wabi - no better testament to your relationship with Frisco than your deeply expressed affection after his passing. You have done him right in life and afterward. My condolences to you and your family. It is said that our pets are the only family members we get to pick other than our spouses and I'm...

Re: Just placed the order

You are in for a treat. I debated over the Ibex and Matrix 355 and landed on the Matrix. The Ibex is also a great bow but I prefer the compact size of the Matrix. It's a really excellently designed product.

Re: Xmas present

Matrix 355 made its appearance this morning. I think my son is as excited as I am. :D The scope is better than I expected considering some of the troubles some folks have had. It's definitely a keeper for now. The trigger has the tiniest amount of creep but not bad at all. We've only shot it at 20 y...

Awesome scope. It does look big but it has to be one of the best out there.

Re: Leupold 2-7x scope question

Doesn't Leupold have a 2-7 33 called the Crossbones with a crossbow reticle? Their web site doesn't make any mention of a speed ring but I suspect that would be necessary for it to be broadly usable by crossbow hunters. That's the one I would look at if was looking for an upgrade.

B50 flemish strings for Matrix?

I see that folks use Dyneema, Fast Flight, and XS2 for building flemish strings. Does anyone use B50 for the higher poundage bows? I've got some that I use for my longbows but wasn't sure it was suitable for the higher poundages. I'm certain it would stretch some and need to be twisted to adjust bra...
