Re: Fletching Firebolts

I use them in a Excalibur Exomax crossbow. Does that make a difference?

I need to replace several vanes on some of my Firebolt arrows. Which vanes should I use?

Re: Armchair comandos dislike excalibur

I've had other hunters comment that my Exomax was too wide and heavy. When I showed them how I could replace the string and uncock it without shooting an arrow it got their attention!! They were also impressed that with the exception of waxing the string it is essentially maintenance free. I clean t...

Cabelas 20" Stalker XBolt Arrows

Is anyone out there using the Cabelas 20" Stalker XBolt Arrows? If so how are they working out for you?

They come with plastic nocks I have heard. Do they hold up well?

Re: Good friend of mine hurt in tree stand fall

I never climb in my treestand without my safety harness and Downsafe attached. http://www.downsafe.com/ My wife requires the Downsafe while I am in the tree stand. She made a good point about how in the world I would get down from the tree if I did fall and couldn't get back in the tree stand!! Bill

Re: climbing treestands

I have an Ol'Man Drone climbing treestand. Very nice stand and solid on the tree but it is kinda heavy. Ol"Man advertises it at 22 lbs. but I tend to think it may be a little heavier judging by my back pain. You do have the ability to adjust the angle of the top and platform sections up to 5 in...
