Insert Size?
I have a dozen Easton 2216 aluminum arrow shafts that I cut to make crossbow arrows.I purchased a pack of inserts marked 2216 based on information from the sales person. The inserts are too thick to fit inside the arrow shaft. What size inserts should I have bought?I'm sure I could sand them down to f...

Re: Nockturnal Nock problems
I experienced the same problem when shooting my Excalibur Axiom.Went to shoot a deer at 32 yards and pulled the trigger.Sounded like a semi dry fire! The arrow went the entire 32 yard distance but the shaft was busted(carbon fire bolt)and the vane torn. The arrow was just lying flat on the ground like...

Re: Trying to zero my new Hawke Scope.
I had the same problem with my Hawke Scope.First couple of shots never even hit the target.Lost 2 arrows. Finally started sight in at 10 yards just to make sure I hit some where on the target.Once on target I just started turning the adjustment knobs without counting any clicks until I was close to t...

Re: Crossbow pin sight
Here in Michigan it's illegal to use crossbow to shoot fish/carp,dog fish.Only vertical bows allowed.I wonder if that rule will ever change?

Re: It was worth the fight.....
I really dont think so. Who in their right mind would say just put arm police in schools or arm ever teacher. It'll be like jail. Maybe Ive been to places most of you will never go. Seen what a 5.56 rd does to a person. Have a person walk up to you and ask can you help take away the guns. Im one of...

Sighting in Hawke 3x32 MAP Crossbow Scope
I received a Hawke 3x32 Crossbow scope and unable to get it sighted in on my Axiom crossbow. The elevation knob is completely dialed up and is just about an inch low at 20yards,but the windage is approx. 5 -6 inches off to the left. The windage knob is dialed completely to the right.Any suggestions?I ...

Check on You Tube the video of the guy using an HHA Speed Optimizer. He shoots a 100 yard bullseye the size of a quarter on his second shot.It can be done.

Re: S5 with Dyna strings
Looks like the rubber S5 that's touching the string is longer(extended) than the other rubber S5.Maybe the S5 is the problem(too long/defective).Can you compress it or does it still come back to its original length touching the string?

Re: Restricted Bow Sales USA
When I went to order a bow unstringer,it said you have to be at least 18 to make the purchase, and show proof of age.Same thing with purchasing a rope cocker.I guess anything involving a rope is dangerous.I imagine the same would apply to purchasing arrows and broadheads on line.

Range Finder Mount
Will the Excalibur Range Finder Mount work with a vertical range finder?I've seen it used with a horizontal range finder mounted on top of scope.I thought I saw a picture showing a vertical range finder mounted on the side of the scope.Thanks.

What size vanes?
I'm tempted to try the new QuikFletch Vanes by NAP.I'm shooting the Firebolts Carbon with 4"vanes.Should I go with 3" or 2" vanes with the QuikFletch?
