Re: Micro 335 Limb Failure
Removed the limbs and the left one has a 6” split running through the limb. I also noticed the right one has a splinter (about 2”) which looks like it was hidden under the bolts for the dissipator bars. Could there be an issue with the bars? I took pics but unsure how to post. Air Brakes - Not diss...

Re: Micro 335 Limb Failure
I’ll call Dawn Monday morning. I’ll take some pics in the AM while they are on, and after removed. I’ll also purchase a pair of blemished for insurance.

Micro 335 Limb Failure
After a decade of shooting (combined) thousands of arrows from multiple Excaliburs , I experienced my 1st limb failure. The Micro 335. I noticed my shot placement was a little off for 2 shots and when cocking the string I heard the slow splinter and crack. Statistics would tell me that it was a cert...

Re: 405 brace height?
Not sure if this is related or not but I just purchased and installed a brand new string (excal 1992) on my Matrix 350LE. Side by side the new string seemed a lot shorter but I thought a few hundred shots would cause that. Shot about 20 shots and left it cocked for 48hrs. It’s still resting a little...

Re: string tension
Some on this site have suggested to leave the bow cocked over night after putting on a new string. I have done it and it helps get the stretch out quicker.

Bulldog 400 specs?
I am leaning towards getting a BD400 before the early bow season but can not find one locally. I’m trying to get an idea of the size since that info is no longer available on the site. I have the M350 and was wondering how the overall size would compare. I’m assuming the 400 rail is longer and the s...

Re: New Self cocking Excalibur with a push of a button
I wonder how the limbs would hold up. I’d imagine the unit places stress upon areas not tested during Excal R&D.

Great deal at a little over $3 a pop....
A lot of reviews indicating they turn off during pass throughs, break apart, or turn off during flight. Anybody here use them?

Re: Best target
Has any body ever used a yellow jacket crossbow bag target for broad heads ??? Dave  Curiosity got me and I did once... just once with a bolt cutter. The yj350 stopped it but it would not pull out. In addition to removal issues, I’d imagine that you’d have to replace the “bag” cove...

Excalibur Packaging
I was going through my gear and came across my spare stringer and rope cocker from one of my earlier purchases. They were in ziplock snack bags with simple labels. Was that the early packaging from excal for accessories, or was it something that might have been done by a retailer?

Re: Feeder Advice
I use hanging feeders and PVC type pipe feeders. I have a hanging feeder in my backyard that I keep corn in all year long. I had 8 deer under it a couple of days ago. I have my hanging feeder going off at 7:00 am for 10 seconds and at 7:15 pm for 10 seconds. My hanging feeder is about 15 feet off t...
