Re: Big Doe Down
Congratulations on that doe!!! :D As for your broad head choice I wouldn't worry too much about that. The doe that I shot last Saturday afternoon had the arrow go through above her left shoulder, nicked the spine and out her right shoulder. The arrow didn't completely exit though and she fell down f...

Way to go on that nice bear.
Now that deer season is really starting to get kicked off I keep forgetting about all the other game that is (or will be) in season: bear, upland fowl, water fowl, small game, etc....

Michigan Early Season Doe!!!
I made it out to the woods yesterday afternoon but my only visitor was a lil' button buck. Talk about young and dumb, this guy walked the woods like he didn't have a care in the world. He stopped to munch on some fallen apples from a nearby tree, then up the trail to the clearing that I hunt. He wal...

Gary, welcome to this great forum. Glad to know that you find it worth hanging out here.
Don't worry about those "1st deer w/bow nerves", you'll do just fine. Just remember to take some pictures when you get one.

Re: NS Bear Tag Filled
Nice job on bagging that bear. I love it. The successful hunt threads are starting to pick up in frequency. Man I love this time of year. I'm hoping to get out to my stand for the early anterless hunt that starts tomorrow.
