Congrats on the deer. I had the same issue with pics, there are some helpful friendly people here that will help you out.

Just get out there whenever you feel good about it. If it's 9 a.m. til noon, 1 pm til 4; whatever. This is supposed to be fun. You may be surprised to see a deer when you least expect one. Just get out there and enjoy.

All I can admit to online is that it is a Matrix that is legal in NY. Our state has a 200# draw limit, which is another crazy rule among many in this state.
