I give the majority of the meat I get to a needy family. I don't get many days to hunt, I would feel bad if I passed up on the deer I see, looking for the trophy and I don't fill their freezer. Besides . . .they are asking way too much to mount those horns now-a-days. I get two trophy bucks like Dou...

That buck probably came up to her and ask what time it was since she was sporting that nice shinny watch.

I wonder which rack won the contest? Never mind, I'm sure it was the one still living . . .

I don't like anything on my xbow either, other than the scope . . .the lighter the better. I have not decided what to use yet. I like the idea of the pack or the hip . . .thanks for the ideas . . .anymore?

Welcome Big Al . . . .I usually only keep one extra string because they should last a very long time. I bought two strings because I liked the price, most places wanted double that.

I had a string break after about 125 shots. Didn't show any signs of wear and broke under the serving about where the cocking aid hooks on. Anyway, I got couple of strings from this guy . . . http://www.richmondsportinggoods.com/ExcaliburCrossbows.htm He said if the serving ever wore out or broke, t...

Most of the ones I've killed with the compound went less than 10 yards, had one travel 60 yards(longest). Mostly because they were close shots with a good POI. My compound is quite and packs a heavy hit with the 70 pound pull. The Exomax is louder, for sure. I'm anxious to compare the xbow against m...

First day of gun season last year . . .on the way in(got a late start) my buddy and I spotted four doe 250 yards up on a ridge. One large doe was standing broadside and I decided to give her a try with my .270 . . .I shot, the deer stumbled and took off like a bat. I knew I didn't hit her good, so w...

Nice buck groundpounder!! Are you getting any extra action due to gun hunters pushing the deer to you? A buddy of mine has offered to let me use 12 acres he owns between Cartersville and Rome, GA. I scouted it out and wasn't real impressed . . .it's a long strip with a house on either side. Very lit...

Not too late with the patent. Showing an interest in the produce is actually a plus for obtaining the patent. There's a book at the local library on applying for a patent. And this website is helpful. http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/dapp/pacmain.html Be careful about replying to those TV ads fo...
