Re: Deer followed me!

This spring I had a young buck come onto the property close to where I practice with some 3D targets. After waiting awhile to see if it would move on I decided to just walk over expecting it to leave. It didn't. So I proceeded to practice with my trusty phoenix. Re: Bolt cutters, very disappointed

We've taken lots of deer with them up here in Northern Ontario. I've taken two with no problems whatsover. Must be something wrong with your arrows, your bow, or your shooting!

Re: Stock Question

Re: future vixen models with a thumbhole stock. I am a war baby myself but the babyboomers coming up behind will no doubt be looking for low poundage bows in the future. Therefore, I am hoping and waiting and saving up for that day.

Re: PETA put in place....

By the way isn't fishing just another form of hunting? Humans have used many of the same techniques: bow fishing, spearing, netting(trapping), even driving the fish into traps, weirs etc. Any others that I missed?

Re: Who else loves hunting in the rain?

Got my best deer on a wild and woolly morning November 19, 2001. It was rifle season on Manitoulin Island. Usually it's like a war zone with constant gun fire. That morning the only shot I heard was mine. Maybe I was the only one to go out into the wind and the rain which turned into fog and drizzle...

Secret had a post on page 2 of the "trendy vanes" thread. He claimed that 4" duravanes were the best overall. I asked for his
experience to verify this but so far there have been no further posts.

Hey Secret:

What's your evidence that a 4" duravane works best? Please share your data-base so that everyone can learn from
your experience.
