Re: hunting use for drones?
I hate drowns, I think they should be outlawed for anything! I say people should get of their lazy ass and on their feet and learn how to hunt the way hunting was supposed to be, and that aint from sitting on their ars and twisting knobs! But they've screwed up everything else in this world, I don'...

Re: hunting use for drones?
My first thoughts were it is unethical. After some pondering if they would treat it the same as plane fly overs and you hunt the following day I guess it is something to consider. Personally it to me it takes away from the scouting hunting aspect of the sport. IMHO> The drones in question don't hav...

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
Fair enough. Good luck. I am just a simple laborer. I can only hunt a couple times a month, if that. I appreciate the input.

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
Pydpiper......after the initial setup, there is no dot to be seen while hunting. That is why after much investigation of that same topic, I used one on my Vertical bow. Yes, the Ministry may decide to lay the charge but that is up to the discretion of the individual officer, much like any LEO can l...

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
Actually a Vendetta Rangefinder is perfectly legal in Ontario. A laser sight is not. you are comparing apples and oranges. I was bidding on an old Bushnell yardage pro archery bow rangefinder to mount to my Axiom. the yardage pro archery is similar to the Vendetta but does not have angle compensati...

Re: hunting use for drones?
It is a no go for us here in Ontario. I found a small drone, sat in the palm of your hand, it's job was simply to buzz around over you, take random photos and video of your activity. Be it surfing, mountain biking or hunting.. You can not see what it is seeing until you get home, it locks in to your...

Re: Can we tour the plant?
Been through a few times, it wasn't terribly exciting. Neat to see where it all happens though! Only rule was no photos in the limb building room.

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
For us in Ontario, we can not have a laser site, even if just used to set it up. Awesome concept though.bob watkins wrote:it works like any other range finder in the field. the laser beam is only for set up then it is not visible.

Re: Anyone have a vendetta range finder on a 335?
Does the Vandetta have angle compensation? It turned out to be a feature I needed more than I thought.
I don't think that rangefinder is legal where I live, I love the concept though.

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
Bighorn, Piper, or anyone else that may have input on this. I plan on going out this weekend to get disappointed and learn some hard lessons about coyote hunting. As previously stated, I'll be heading to the mountains. My set up areas will be one of two things. It'll either be near a windmill (the ...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
Piper, as well as anyone else, I just thought of something. In archery season during the rut my son and I were sitting in the blind using The Can. I had my deer target set out as a decoy also which I doused in estrus. My son said that he saw something but I didn't so I thought that he was full of i...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions
I don't always attend a contract to kill the animals, sometimes, it is just about knowing the animals, so I study them. I am working a farm right now that houses about 150 cows, not big by any means. But these cows are insured from 60k to 400K per head. It isn't because they give better milk, it is ...
