Re: lighted nock review.....

I haven't heard great things about the launchpads either. Have never tried them myself but just what I hear.

Re: lighted nock review.....

I'm with Swamp on this one. NuFletch is the way to go for durability and ease of use. It's the same reasons we all shoot Excaliburs.

Re: TOXICs $50/dozen

There have been knockoffs of those heads and quite a few others coming from China for a long time. I hope you take a good long look at those heads before you ever attempt to shoot one at an animal. I have heard some pretty terrible stories of cheap broadhead failure and the wounded animals that resu...

Re: 33 days and counting

I'm really hoping the cool weather we have been having sticks around because it is usually pretty miserable for the dove season opener on September 1st with the bugs and heat.

Re: 33 days and counting

They changed Nebraska to a September 1st start date this year so we are only about 2 and half weeks away. Will be exciting to get out there and see what velvet monsters are lurking around. I am definitely suffering from stand withdrawal.

Fusions versus Blazers

Is anybody using the 2.1" Norway Fusion vanes in their Arizona EZ fletch instead of the Blazers. I have heard the Fusions are stiffer and work well with a heavy helical but wanted to get some opinions on them before I invested in some. My Blazers have always performed well and I still have a bu...

Re: Target stuffing materials

The best stuff I've used in a Third Hand Rag Bag was window screening material cut into strips. Second best is cotton/denim material cut into strips. Last is clothing flolded into layers. Is it the fiberglass screen material or some sort of plastic. I would assume aluminum screen material would tea...

Re: Target stuffing materials

I've tried the stretch wrap and you are going to have plastic residue on your arrows but they do remove easier than shooting through layers material. I think the clothing material is still the best. Not sure about the landscape fabric stuff.

Re: top quiver mount

I wanted to go top mount to get my arrows off the bottom and wasn't thrilled about having to thread my arrows under a top center mount that straddled the riser. I also wanted to keep as much weight as I could shifted to the back of the bow because my Equinox is already kind of front heavy. I went wi...

Re: The beast got new wings!

My Equinox has a light pink tint to it. I can't say I have had an animal mind the color. My daughter does seem to be drawn to it though. :D

Re: Ontario - Additional Deer Seals

We've seen permit reductions down her in Nebraska as well because of a couple nasty rounds of EHD that took 30-50% of the heard depending on what part of the state you are in.

Re: Why upgrade?

Good enough! While a have everyone's attention I have another question. I understand broadhead choice is all over the board, but who shoots what gr weight and why? I shoot 100 grain slick tricks because it is one less thing to worry about. I shoot a recurve crossbow because they are dependable, jus...
