If this was bow hunting , I would say stay home. I always figered that the rain washed away the blood trail.
Gun hunting another story. I put a large clear plastic bay over all my clothes, to try to stay dry. Yes I have done it. Your call... weather men have been wrong!

you wondered about battery life. I have a ded dot on my vert bow. Its been on the bow for about 5 years now ORIGINAL battery. My site is turned on all the time I hunt. I use position 1 or2 in the woods. I had a extra battery, it ended up in the computer.

Let it go..

tonight at 530pm I had my vert bow on full draw. The red dot site on the deers boiler room. The range was 10 yards. The shoot was not broad side, but slightly quartering away. Its near leg forward, its head busy eating leaves. The perfect shot but then............Bambi, had a lucky day, I let it go!...
