Re: Good Tripod for rev x
I haven’t used them with the RevX for shooting but I used a Bog Deathgrip to hold the bow to set it up. I also use it to install scopes or even clean a bore. Works well but a little pricy but bulky and a bit heavy. It is a very nice tripod. My Vanguard bipod has been used for probably 30 years now w...

Re: Proper way to sight in overwatch scope ?
Donno if there’s a “proper” way. I use the deck of the mainframe because it determines the POI, not the limbs. I use a plumb line to get the vertical set because it is more accurate and I don’t trust the scope turret. I zero at 20 yards. Then I stack 2 targets at 40 yards and shoot at a mark at the ...

Re: RevX speed
I think you're going to love the bow, I do! I haven't chrono'd the bow and don't plan on it. If for some reason I have to get the chronograph out I will check out the speeds.

Actually, I did get good news yesterday from my neurosurgeon, NO SURGERY needed yet!! I do have 2 herniated disk in my neck. But he doesn't want to operate. Seems to think steroids and physical therapy will work. I hope so. Thanks, Norman, for thinking about that. Andy Go for it...

Re: RevX has arrived!
I had time to put in 20 shots today. This bow continues to impress! The trigger is the best trigger that Excalibur has made so far and the serving wear so far is spectacular! I’ll continue to use the Overwatch scope but I haven’t convinced myself that lighted circles is what I want. I shot it to 60 ...

Re: Overwatch scope
I haven't hunted with mine or shot around sunset but looking outside without illuminating the reticle I thought it may work ok for legal hours. I know what you mean about your eyes. It's mostly about how bad your cataracts are. My cataracts are getting bad. I need more light to reach my eyes, the di...

Re: New case ?
Just a question. The RevX has a built in crank, has no rope cocker groove and is almost impossible to cock by mortal men. Why did you put on the larger stirrup? Is there an advantage you see?
