Re: How do you know you are shopping in Texas?
A girl I work with came in Monday and said that she went to Lowe's on Saturday for something. Just a little while before she got there, someone was mugged in the parking lot, in broad daylight! After she finished telling about it, I said, "And that's why I carry a gun." Yea...

I agree with most everything that has been said.
But what I find most unbelievable about this story is that a 77 year old has a new "girlfriend"!!!

I agree that it was odd that the buck pretty much stayed center of the camera.
Someone should send this to every "Animal Rights" groups and ask them to find and charge the Coyotes with "animal cruelty"!

Re: Lucky or Capn' Hook?
This is the first time he's shown up on any of our cameras. Not sure where he came from. About 1/2 mile south and across a highway is another 80 acres we hunt and I've seen a lame Spike over there. He can get around amazingly fast when he wants to even with a busted up hip (he winded me one morning)...

If he can set up his own gear, I'd watch ebay. You can get some good deals there, especially after hunting season.

Nice buck Hoss! I know what you mean about time winding down. I was hoping to tag out before Gun season, but didn't make it. Liked 2 more. Guess I'll finish the season with the Featherlight 7mm-08! Gotta get out after some Greenheads!

Started out in the Oil Field working Summers while I was in School. After I got home from the Oil Field in the Evenings, I'd then go haul hay (isn't youth wonderful?) Then graduation came along about the same time as the Oil Bust in the mid 80's. I was "unemployed" for a while but made end...
