Freehand shooting out to 100y at Boofest last year got me hooked on it. It brings me confidence at hunting ranges. I usually shoot from some sort of rest in the field.

Great scope, it’s lighter and way le$$ than my VXR Patrol which sports the same reticle and tactical turrets but with a red dot. There’s very little daylight between the optical quality of both scopes and the Mod-1 is lighter so it’s a good choice. I sold mine to Newbie and he’s not parting with it ...

The numbers aren’t important. As long as they have the same number , +/- 0.5# you’re good. Since the values aren’t indicative of a poundage, they are arbitrary. I had my riser modified for a Matrix 410, (it’s a slightly longer draw than a 405mega), and though I have not chronographed this setup, I like the peace of mind in knowing I have a reliable performer.
