Yes it would raise the height at which you need to get the handles up rope cocking whatever distance you extend it by. But he really only needs to extend the stirrup 1.5". His Micro is pretty short, that 1.5" will mean very little in rope cocking.

I may be wrong but,
i think that will also change your distsnce to cock your bow,
might want to take that into concideration....
