Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results
I have full understanding of the speed numbers of these bows. I know 15-20 fps won't make a huge difference in the scheme of things. However, if I'm buying a bow with an advertised speed I fully expect it to achieve that speed (or very close to it). I would be perfectly happy with a 'Bulldog 385' o...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results
Their claim to fame on this bow was 400 fps why even advertise speed then. Bulldog 380 $1099. Bulldog 400 $1299. Because of the speed the price goes up. I get what you're saying the draw for me to this bow was the speed that was advertised if it's not a big deal make the bows all the same price bec...

Re: MT Pronghorn Forum Hunt
Funny decoy story Nog! I have a "Montana" decoy in the whitetail doe. It is just fabric w/ a real deer photo on it. Supported by a spring band and a couple steel legs. I like it, because it is so easy...and very lightweight. But the wind does it no favors. Set it up one evening and the win...

Wow guys, nice response! :D OK..a few more details... I was born here, so have never applied non-resident...But the online apps are pretty straight forward and the computer will refuse the app until you get it right. If you apply by mail, and mess something up, you will be "SOL" and the st...

Re: stirrup
There was a post a while back where someone had used a length of heavy climbing rope ...I think this was to gain broadhead clearance but it would surely silence the stirrup too. It looked nice in the pics. For me, noise it just something I got used to...Just NO way to make them silent, so no point i...

Re: matrix 405 - very Hard hitting
An arrow puller won't do you much good until you remove the decals with acetone. I forced a Zombie out of my foam target and there was so much foam fused to my shaft that I had to scrape it off with a knife. Best solution is to make yourself a rag bag target from old clothes stuffed into a feed bag ...

Re: what do you do with your harvest
I make a LOT if my game into smoked jerky. Just use brown sugar and salt for an hour(ish) and then Hickory smoked in the Bradley until just about dry. And this year I got a pressure canner and have been canning most meat that is not jerked.... And I can say WOW!!! The canner is so nice! Meat is read...

Re: matrix 405 - very Hard hitting
I noticed this quite a bit with the factory string that came new on my M380. But the fraying at the bumpers seemed to go away for the most part when I switched to the FlemishTswist string ( I've been real happy with Vixenmaster's)...

Re: Lumenoks vs Firenocks vs others
I like the Ignitors for cost and ease of use. I just leave them on while I am practicing, I don't turn them off until I'm done shooting. The green color last for a long time. The replacement batteries/lights are very cheap too. And I have totally lost track of how many arrows I found as a result of ...

Re: helical or offset
My M380 will shoot the factory 18" Zombie arrow set up w/100gr SlickTricks that you describe w/92gr insert. And will stack them on top of each other out to 120 yards. ...Then I added the Ignitor lighted knock, and I lost control of the arrows...probably not quite out of the kill zone at 40 yard...

I don't care what animal you shot at ! Shoot an animal through the guts on purpose , with a non lethal arrow point ? ON PURPOSE ?!?! SICK !!! You must not have protected, harmful, unwanted, dangerous, predators where you live! You can give thanks for that!! And not to worry, the field point is plen...
