Re: Mailing question
If by trouble you mean duties / customs then the best you can do is identify the package as a 'gift' (which it is) with $0 value and ship it USPS. Purolator and UPS rape us on brokerage fees.

Re: Wraps - Fluorescent or Reflective
I like solid white wraps with white fletching. Very easy to see in flight, very easy to find, and see blood on. Before you say they will alert deer to your position, I have to say there is a lot of white in the woods already. Just look around. Haha. There's lots of "white in the woods" fo...

Re: Gun or Crossbow
I agree with The Elf: I choose "Redhead" as my official answer. I love 'em all. I love being in the woods hunting and therefore I love the extended season that the archery season gives me. My rifle / shotgun season is two weeks long and I might use 3 or more different rifles and shotguns t...

Wraps - Fluorescent or Reflective
I've got a decision to make but I'd like to get some feedback from you fine folks. I want arrows that I can find easily on the ground in the fall. I leaned towards fluorescent yellow / green / orange vanes in the past but I occasionally still have trouble finding them in the fall leaves in broad day...

Re: electrontic sight on the new excaliburs!
There's no info available on those scopes yet under either the Scopes or the Accessory Packages links on the web site. But the individual xbow pages do list the Red Dot light stuff package option. It's quite a bit cheaper than the Varizone light stuff package so I'm assuming it's a pretty basic Red ...

By holding ALT and typing 0176 on the numpad you get: ° I learned something new today!! I don't have a number pad! :? Hi Don; If that's because you're on a laptop, hold the FN key then the Numlk key. Then you can hold ALT and use the numbers on the right side of the letter keys. On my laptop m = 0,...

Re: Excalibur Hard Case (with pictures)
I dropped them an email about cost / S&H. They told me it would be $160.00 just for shipping to the states via UPS.Said it may be a little cheaper to go regular mail but they didn't know. That is alittle to costly for my blood and that doesn't include the price of the case. Nice case but i'm no...

I feel for you Pydpiper. You are doing a great job - as thankless as it is!
But I just wish we could get some landowners around here on board! It's an uphill battle even though it would be of service to them. I've personally given up on the landowners in eastern ontario.

Re: Torque Specification Chart
I just put a 6' pipe on my itsy-bitsy hex wrench and snug everything up good'n'tight!!! KIDDING! I'm pretty AR about torque specs when working on high performance machines (I ride sport bikes - hard) but when it comes to xbows and the inch-pounds required to snug up the bolts, for some reason I'm no...

Re: What gun must you have
OK. OK. If it's not about zombie killin' it would have to be my mother's wedding gift to my late father: a Remington 760 pump action .308. Sentimental value. I re-scoped it last year and hopefully it'll actually hit something on target one day. The old flip-over scope mount and the original scope le...

Re: What gun must you have
I guess if it came down to one kabang firearm it would be my Mossy 535 Deer / Turkey / Duck combo. One shotgun - 3 barrels. The rifled barrel is scoped and sighted in for 100 yds. It'd make zombies go splat real good! Actually, zombies wouldn't have a chance against the smooth barrel and 00 Buck at ...

Re: Soft case Pics added, Material Updates
If the clasp makes impossible to see or touch the xbow without unclasping it then it should be ok. But the best bet is to take it to the mnr and ask them directly.

Dereck;
worst case scenario you can replace the elastics with drawstrings. But Pydpiper is right. I've had a warden tell me the drawstring has to be tied or the gun sock wouldn't cut it as a "case".
