Re: Twilight DLX Scope

They have not yet hit the market. Thanks for the update! Excal will be present at a local show this weekend I'm sure they'll have them there? Like the larger objective should gather enough light for low light conditions "legal hunting hours". Just remember using light pins on a ver...

Re: New Vortex...destination Georgia!!!

Been a vertical bow shooter since the 70's. Bought the Vortex my first Xbow last year.
How long has Excal offered the Vortex and did it once have a different power stroke?
Can't see myself going back to the vertical, got one for sale!

Re: Quiver bracket/Balance

Being right eyed dominant and right handed I originally set the quiver bracket from the Right Stuff package on the right side when your looking down the rail through the scope. What I noticed was the Xbow wanted to roll to the right. So for the heck of it I took it off and just hand tightened it, s...

Re: Quiver bracket/Balance

What I noticed was the Xbow wanted to roll to the right. So for the heck of it I took it off and just hand tightened it, so it is now on the left. I now find the Xbow doesn't want to roll at all. I hardly have to grip it at all pretty much open handed. Cool insight! I had the same experience with m...

Re: Question about Dissapator Bars.

I called excal and asked the same question about my Vortex and was told it could be done
the lost would be 3db in sound. Along with the washer as you said you'll need a shorter bolt I was
told.

Xbow Breakdown

I seen Bill T. breakdown a Xbow and use a double rifle hard case for travel. I myself am going to do the same for a trip this year due to limited space in a vehicle. Has anyone seen a change in POI. after reassembly? The area is new, so first day or two will be scouting and setting up. I have plenty...

Wind Indicator

Just something I've used for a long time to help me with wind direction. I take about six inches or so of dental floss and tie it to the bottom corner of the stirrup and let it hang. The slightest breeze will move it. Works great keeps you from guessing. Still never going to beat their nose we all kn...

Re: Sirrup protection

FYI, here is the answer of the local Line-X dealership : "Applying Line-x to your crossbow stirrup should be possible, I anticipate the the job falling into our minimum shop charge ($89) price range. If it's convenient, you can drop off the stirrup and pick up the following day. " That's ...

Re: New Guy - Wax?

No doubt Boo makes an awesome string! Actually found a post about the string I was seeking info on. It compared several strings together-great post!
JBK Strings is the maker of the string offered by Wyvern Creations.
