Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?

I presented facts too. But certainly it takes longer for the string to reach the point where it needs adjustment when you start so far over factory recommendations on the high end. It could take years to reach my selected height. So NO, the string ain’t stretching slower, and it ain’t taking longer...

I'm just presenting you with the facts. How you choose to interpret them is just fine with me.

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?

Is the string the same spec material? (As per “Less adjusting”) Yes same material, Less adjustment because it will take longer to be too short Is the higher brace height slowing the bolt down? In theory it is possible, but not enough to worry about. How is it easier on the bow? Higher brace height ...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?

I shot the bow today with new string and bumpers. A couple of things, This new string which some say is “shortened” will not sit any closer than 5/8” from the bumper with no twist (for now). Even at that great distance the string actually flexes that far to hit the bumpers, this surprised me. There ...

We put it up on our Pilon sign at work. We strive to keep the memories alive, but sadly even most of our staff don't know the meanings anymore.

Re: This is ultra sad to say the least!

I'm interested to see the speed with a 400gr hunting arrow. Jeff, I am getting 448.0 ft/sec with a 353 gr arra and the stock string. With a 400.5 gr arra I am getting 426.6 ft/sec. Trigger breaks at 3 lb 6 oz. There is a bit of travel before breaking. To me, this is perfect. Pact Professional XP wi...

I think Wyverns sells them, but Danny Miller makes and sells them. Give him a call.

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?

The best prices, and lightest weight bumpers are the Danny Miller bumpers. They are a good buy that won't effect any speed

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?

How would it make brace height easier? I have mine marked too with a hacksaw groove on the side and white appliance paint. I really hate to add much weight to the bow. Does it do anything beneficial for the string, my last string lasted 4 years and was still in good shape, admittedly I don’t target...

Re: WASP DART

I shoot the 3 blade equivalent, the Drone.
They fly extremely well, come with extra blades, and on the one deer shot last fall, left a blood trail like a city sidewalk.

Would you rather have 25 grain more broadhead or 25 more FPS? I am trying to decide what to use for hunting if I make a change.
Well if I was below 400 on arrow weight, I would prefer the extra 25 grns. If I was above 400 grns I'd go for the extra 25 fps.

Re: Followed me home... Pro-Shot ACP trigger

Does the new acp trigger reduce the length of the pull or take up when squeezing the trigger? In the bulldog 400 that is... that is my biggest complaint about the stick trigger. Feels like I pull forever!!! In single stage, there is no travel. Period Billy can comment further as I have come to appr...
