I tried hunting turkeys twice, with no success.

I truly don’t understand how their pea-sized brains work. Deer make sense to me (most of the time). Turkeys, not at all.

Do turkeys live all the up in Canada?

I bet if you asked on the Tradgang.com forum, someone there could tell you. They look like late 70’s to early-80’s broadheads to me.

If you Canadians had deer like we’ve got here in the South, loading them in the truck wouldn’t be an issue: just grab ‘em by the scruff of the neck, and toss ‘em up into the bed!

Danny Miller had one at BooFest. It had cedar branches spray-painted on it in gray for camouflage. I think he said it came that way from Excalibur.

Check out the goats foot lever and the gaffe lever. Both were used to help cock medieval style crossbows. The gaffe lever is a bit easier to build than the goats foot lever.

You’re certainly on the right track, IMO, to use the heavier insert/broadhead. However it’s not realistic to expect any arrow/broadhead combo to achieve a pass through on a leg bone!
