Thanks....been looking on ebay without luck thus far.

OK - arrows...bolts...custom ones would be nice, but function at lowest cost is what I am looking for...indeed there are a great deal of custom items from this group. Would certainly take custom arrows - if they wre at generic costs.

Best place for bolts...

I need some bolts - anyone know of any good deals out there right now? Made it four years with the original six (had to re-fletch a couple) but I am down to three...so I need to spend the cash and get some more.

Thanks,
Matt

Being in VA - but in the military - I was concerned about getting a crossbow, and then either moving to a state that did not allow them..or VA changing their laws. A local elder shop owner...though he would be pissed if he knew I referred to him as that...said, "Well - can not help you on the m...

Deck Wax

I have a question....I have an Exomax, and I have been putting the wax that came with the package on the string as well as along the deck. Since the wax is tacky, I wonder if I am doing more harm to speed then good by putting wax on the deck. I am only shooting whitetails in Virginia, so the Max has...

That is the one great thing in VA. At least where I am...the season runs through the end of March. I already have 9 harvested between the wife and I, but still the deer are so thick, I wish they allowed hunting on Sundays.

I use the Rancho Safari one as well...by far the best concealment out there shy of making your own. Cabelas used to carry the whole line but now only carry the "light weight" model which is strips of fabric - no burlap. I have the one made with burlap - because it frays it further breaks t...

Concur - it an Excalibur can not meet your needs, then Tenpoint is the way to go. Tenpoint can be found at much greater (relative to original MSRP) discounts then you will find for Excalibur...and they are well made and support their products. They also do not hold their resale as well (again in rel...

Sorry you lost that meat. That always makes your gut sink. I thought I was in trouble with the doe I took last weekend. I shot her at 20yds, the shaft was bloody, but not frothy not bight red not brown like a gut shot. Sorta a cross of all them...anyways, there was a light blood trail - which did no...

Never used them...but I know with traditional bows, their regular aftershocks repordedly are good as long as you have enough KE (speed and mass). Light weight set ups and low pound bows are supposed to be less then ideal...

That is really interesting...I shot the muzzys again today - and there is definately a drop. It would be within a kill zone - but it is about 2-3 inches...granted, I am not a perfect shot - so I will toss out an inch...but not up to three. ANd I am using arest - but in my yard I don't have the abili...

I too have had not so great results...minding the wind, scouting and practice have landed me my deer. I have seen deer react to scent I used...sometimes good - but sometimes bad. I had four dow get completely skitish when they whiffed some "trails End" last year...same day, on small buck g...
