I am loooking to make some sausage from this year's harvest but would rather have patties vice links (I am having links made from the butcher...just do not want to invest in the gear and time to do the casings route...) 2. Anyone here have...

Another sling question...if I may...
Speaking of slings...how do you carry it with the quiver mounted to the stock as well? I found that I had my arm riding on the bolt - actually pushed it out of the quiver head...is there a better way to sling the crossbow?

Question for the group...
O.K. - am debating what to do...figure I would ask for some advice. I have two properties in Virginia I hunt. Both are in Fairfax (which gives me a long season) and what I would call "urban". Property A: The first is really urban - a cluster of five properties all 2-3 acres bordering a sma...

securing the camera
You could also take a wire mesh - heavy guage chicken wire, wrap the unit in that, and then snake a cable through the mesh and around the tree. Cheap, and would keep the hinest honest...another option is to mount it high on a bracket - but that limits the field of view...buddy did that and when he w...

Doe w/Fawn
I passed up two does this morning - both with two fawns. First came under my stand right at legal light - I had just settled in and since this was the first day on a new piece of property...I wanted to wait and see what the morning would bring and to see how the deer were moving. After seeing 5 buck...

Holding steady
All - season is approaching and I have been practicing...I am having much more difficulty holding steady with the crossbow than I have ever had with guns and my bow...I know the trigger pull is way different and I am still getting used to it...and I am thinking it is just a different weighted item, ...

Virginia season...
for bow (and xbow now!) opens mid Sep for special urban areas and runs through mid-March for those urban areas...which fortunately is where the property I hunt resides.

Just bought an Exomax this afternoon...will have it in my hands within a couple days (being shipped). Been hunting for a long while...took up bow shooting three years ago, hunted with it last year and this year will add to the collection the Exomax. Looked at and read all I could and seemed like Exc...
