Re: Whats a good cheek piece

If your looking for one for a thumb-hole matrix stock ? I'd call Danny Miller. I just got a new one in the mail for my M 355, for $25 and that's the lowest price I have found anywhere.....He can get them, or probably already has one in stock to match what ever model you have, as most have specific c...

Re: Matrix 330 or Grizzly

My only comment would be that when looking for my "first " Xbow I became hooked on the Parker Thunder hawk with it's composite rail and ordered one from cabelas. Now I Expect X-cals is much better. However, the arrow layed flat on the Parker until drawn back and at that point I think the p...

Re: Matrix 330 review

Which ever string you choose ? It will be QUALITY... I was thinking mine was pretty quick, giving me 352 fps at 388 gn.... but that, may be attributed to the fact that Ron told me that set of limbs were marked 102 . The 330 I sent in return to him had a set marked 104 ... I know the first arrow I sh...

Re: Matrix 330 review

Sweet couple of bows hanging there ! In looking at the crono. pictures, I take it the first was with 330 and second with the 355? Awesome group at 30 yds. "free hand". At my age the only way I attempt that kind of group woud be off a bench. While in the woods, it would be off the si...

Predators in your states and huntig areas ?

Many living in the Western States are facing an up-hill battle with the tree huggers and large voting blocks of liberal's living in the largest Cities in their states... I know this personally as I live in Washington and having Pierce and King Counties near and containing Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia...

Re: A Micro Morning

Big John, I'm happy that your having no issues with your bow. Your pictures, your beautiful daughter and your groups look great... The only mechanical issue I detect with your bow is......... the cheek piece "Jumped" to the wrong side... Must have been all of that shooting and the bad wind...

Re: Limb ratings.

Ron, I know the day I bought it, I put yours through Cabelas crono. and with 350 gn. Diablo including 100gn field tip up front , I got an honest 341 fps...pretty fast as far as I was concerned. The possibility was there that the string may have been longer than it should have been with less brace he...

Re: Decision made, new member of the 355 club!

Welcome to the club.. I have only good things to say about mine.. I had a new 330 and it also was a great bow. However, since I fellt I could comfortably go a bit higher in draw weight , I jumped at a chance to trade the 330 for this sweet 355. No looking back unless it would be another 300 or 355 a...

Re: Pretty good #'s for y new 355 !

Your absolutely right.... the FMJ's fly very well and group as tightly as the Zombie Slayers at about any reasonable range... They are a great option... Going to perhaps re-think this some.

Another "NEWBIE" question

I ordered a new ADF for my 355 yesterday along with a cheek piece from Danny Miller. I then had to ask myself, having no experience with this type device, "How is this going to work while adjusting brace height with string tool since there is no arrow in place to hold the ADFdevice up and out o...

Pretty good #'s for y new 355 !

I had a little time yesterday so I took the bow with xcalibers new FF string and various arrow weight combinations to a new shop who is a Parker Xbow dealer with a good cronograph. However, I wish their target had been better  I had to stop after 3 shots as arrows were burried up to and partia...

Re: Who Knows Which Way the Wind Blows?

I realize this is an old post that has been revived, but thought I'd "Chime In" anyway... I'm new to X-bow's, but I have hunted " Up Close and Personal " for right at 50 years with long bows and recurves so I'll give my response for what it's worth. You can say what you want, and...
