I have had better luck with food based scents, with apple topping the list. have not seen this thermatomizer before and think I will be trying it! especially in late season when it is below freezing when scents poured out just freeze and become weak at best. heated things smell much much stronger

in my opinion for hunting purposes at reasonable ranges .002 does nothing but give you a lighter wallet

practice blades for spitfire maxx?
does anyone know if there are practice blades available for the SPITFIRE MAXX? 10 years ago I know there was for the regular spitfire but I cannot find anything on their website regarding any practice blades/heads now

jeff , what scope did you end up with? ..I know you had the TZ for sale I have a leopold Gilmore red dot scope on it. the best I have found that works with my eye issues, dagriz set me up with it and boy am I glad he did! wow! very nice! does not seem to have nearly the vibration than my vortex has and much easier to handle then the vortex due to it smaller size. Ever try to change a battery when a deer of a lifetime is staring you down? nope cuz I have never had a battery fail . i do all my target shooting with last years battery then i install a new one just before season starts.also there is a very low chance of a deer of a lifetime being seen in michiga...

The problem with red dots are if they fail " bad battery" ya got nuttin! :shock: how about carry an extra in your hunt bag or anywhere since a quarter sized battery is not going to weigh you down, most people carry extra batteries for their flashlights. yes it causes movement to change it...
