That was shot number 4 with bolt number 1. Both shot 1 and 4 were to the right with the same bolt.

I stand about three feet from the house. I set targets at 20, 25, 30, and 40 yards.

Re: Hanging a deer
We hang them by the neck. After skinning, cut the breast bone, wash and wipe inside and out and place a piece of wood inside chest cavity to spread open for a couple days before cutting up the deer.
I use a Buck #124 knife. With that knife, you can rip right up through the breast bone.

"Same screw?"
Not always. Older ones used a smaller screw. In that case, you need to drill the arrow hold down spring a little.

Re: Crank For Excalibur Phoenix
If the stock has five diagonal slashes on the side of the stock, it takes a C-2 crank. Without the slashes, it takes a crankaroo.

Re: Which way did it go?
I think the arrow would be to the right. When the right limb hit, it would kick the right side back, so the arrow should be to the right.
If the jolt made the arrow jump out of the rail, it could be anywhere.

Re: For those who don't visit the "Other Topics"
Dan I had a heart attack in April of 1992 and five by-passes in September of 1994. They told me then that I could live another 20 years then but, I did not believe them at the time. I am still here. I am now 67. My mother had bypass surgery in 1990 and she is still going at 94. Best wishes to you an...
