Impervious to cold weather? Any other man would have died in such conditions  So it's a little overdone with all living in the outdoors lacking dry and warm clothing................I know I would not survive such conditions. I live fairly close to the locations where the movie was filmed. DiCa...

Re: Stirrup Protection
Only in the Soo...................cocking your crossbow on your highly shone hardwood floor :) Nothing you put on your stirrup will stop your wife from hammering you. Electrical tape is the most economical solution to protect the stirrup. It protects the stirrup, it doesn't leave any residue, it's t...

Re: Recess in riser. Why?
You can do what you want by cutting your arrows shorter. But as mentioned by Carroll there is safety in keeping your arrows longer so that your boot will kick out the arrow when you put your foot into the stirrup. Excalibur is doing the right thing by providing arrows of a "safe length". T...

Re: Butt-Out tool and gut hook
I was hunting with a younger friend a few years ago and he had killed a nice buck right at dark. We took it to a skinning pole at his club to gut and skin it. He had it winched up and tried to use a Butt Out tool on it. It simply slipped in and straight back out of the deer's butt. We lowered the b...

I feel your pain Boo. Just moved myself......for the LAST time too. My stuff was in storage for 6 months in between the time my old home sold near Edmonton and my new home was built in Crowsnest Pass. My hunting season was a bust 'cause of the move. Still not unpacked and probably never will be lol.

Have a VXR Patrol with Firedot BDC reticle 1.25-4. Love it. Crystal clear. Fire dot is awesome and lots of aiming points with the BDC reticle. Also have an EO Tech 512 XBow...................I like the EOTech better though.

Re: What camera & mount do u use on your xbow
ATN SHOT TRAK HD. Mounts on a picatinny or weaver rail. Best position to mount it is on an Excalibur Tac Pac rail. Placed here your can turn it on or off with just your thumb, without having to relocate any hands on your bow when you are in a shooting position. Deer was 25-30 yards away in this vide...
