Mike, if you learn to shoot a shotgun properly you don't need any sighting aids. Once mastered you don't need a bead or rib.
Here's a link to Pydpiper's thread.

Actually Holo sights work on anything including crossbows where you don't need magnification. The best way to use them is with both eyes open. I have two of them and they are the best sights I've tried so far for fast target acquisition. The center dot is 1 MOA on a Bushnell. The camo tape that Pydp...

I just got off the phone with John. It was a 40 ft fall down some rough stuff ending with a 9 ft free fall! Any one that knows John will know that ended with a good thump! Lots of pain and numbness. Lucky for him he got out of the woods himself and his wife took him to the hospital. His wife is an a...

The reason for the shot gun hunt coinciding with the rut is to put down as many deer as permits permit. Managers need the numbers and the shot gun season is instrumental in getting numbers needed to manage the heard.

I don't have a problem with guys pushing a bush lot but I am not entertained by them. I've been in a few small drives with very strict rules but still no fun to me. Some guys like it because it's social. One things for sure, no matter what there's always a bozo on the bus!

Agreed, best not to take any chances on your first one or any shot for that matter. If you do your part and something does not go right you won't beat yourself up over it later.

Boo, Have you ever tried one of this design? http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yhst-47712162108723_2024_5129399 I have an old one that I can really crank the tension down on, but the newer models don't look like they are made as sturdy. I have two of those Cajuns. The are ok but still...

Here you go Don, let me know what you think. You can see the middle one with the bent rod. That bent rod is what breaks. Those rod are made from aluminum. The one on the left is the Spigarelli. I think I will have to modify the mini rods on the Spigarelli some so the serving does not have to take su...

Do you want a couple? I bought a few and they split in half in a serving or two.
