I'm young, fairly fit, no injuries, I just plain like my crossbow. I don't own any vertical bows and have nothing against them, I'll probably even buy one to have some fun with eventually but I'll always own and use a crossbow

Ontario federation of anglers and hunters have a spring bear special where u buy a membership shick comes with a magazine subscription and they throw in a free thermacell. That's what I'm using

Did u handle both types of micro stock? I felt the same way when I handled the bulldog but I was fine with the original micro 355. I don't think I'm a fan of the bull pup stock, for me that's when I seem to have a problem with eye relief

Wow that's dumb, a 200lb recurve is shooting what? 330fps max? What about a compound? You guys are right, the people making these laws around crossbows know nothing about them and hunting in general

I personally wouldn't use anything that leaves a residue behind because dirt, sand and other junk might stick to it. I have heard of guys using dri silicone spray on the rail for lubrication tho
