Nov 10. Man, it's like Christmas Day to Deer Hunters and if I had forgotten that, this morning reminded me why I tell my Wife not to plan anything for me the week prior and the week after Nov 10! Well, I hear a lot of people from PA complaining that the Fish and Wildlife folks have issued too many tags in years past and now there aren't hardly any deer left in PA. Of course, I've also heard the same thing said about Ohio from hunters there

Wabi, do you always put broth or other juices in your jars? I canned some last year without using anything and the juices only filled about 3/4 of the jar leaving some of the meat sticking out of the liquid.
