Re: What the heck is wrong with people today?
I told the landowner my brother and I would clean it up and take it to the dump but he said he’d take care of it. I gave him a big box of sausage and steaks from my deer. He texted me yesterday so we’re still good. My neighbour, who owns 500 acres used to allow a lot of hunters use his land until s...

That sucks. Getting up there in age just makes we appreciate the saying about being on the right side of the grass. It also makes me regret working so hard and long, not enjoying life as much as I should have. Don hopefully once the nicer weather hits you and Karin will be virus resistant to enjoy ...

Duckhunt, I like to think that I really take care of my vehicles. That would have been really depressing, replacement vehicle or not! I would probably have cried myself to sleep!   Jeff, just wait! You're 55 but at 70 I'm a hurting unit some days. I just had x-rays on my knees and ri...

Re: I don't know about you guys but...
Don, we moved in November, late. No hunting for me, and plenty of let’s say fun. Got a blow out on my truck moving day, only took three days for the tire to arrive. Got sick from grand kids twice. Anyway, glad we’re both on the other side of that. Getting old ain’t for sissies. :eusa-naughty: Yep, ...

I don't know about you guys but...
I've had a rough winter! I got Covid at the end of November and couldn't stop coughing until sometime in Jan! Then my wife and I caught a respiratory virus at the beginning of January and that we were suffering from until a week and a half ago.It was bad enough that my wife had to be treated for pne...

Re: What the heck is wrong with people today?
It’s purely lack of parental guidance. We are supposed to be the rock that corrects them and guides them. Too many parents expect schools to do what parents are meant to do. Too many parent are either too busy or too stinking lazy to infuse a moral compass in their children. All too often it is the...

Re: mag 340 & 2219 arrows
Welcome to the forum! 2219s are fine and fairly common amongst guys who shoot aluminum. They do yield a heavier arrow though and you want a good amount of FOC for better accuracy. Four inch fletchings are ok as long as they aren't too soft. A broadhead that hangs out past the stirrup can easily be n...

Re: Turkeys
lol so many questions. Am I limited to Excalibur bolts? Or can I use any bolts as long as they have a flat knock? You do not have to use the OE arrows but they use a good quality arrow shaft. What ever you use make sure the spine isn't too soft and that the string sits at or near the center of the ...
