Re: New to crossbows and needing guidance

The crossbow scope has several chevrons to mark different distances, the magnification, or speed ring, which is the same on these scopes widens, or shortens the distance between the markers. That is what sets you dead on at varying ranges. You can zoom in using the 20 yard crosshair without affectin...

Re: New to crossbows and needing guidance

Congrats, welcome, and good advice from those guys. I would sight the scope at 30, and verify POI at 20 which should be about 3" high. Good luck, post pics of your gobbler!

Re: New Excaliber Prices

I don't work in marketing, so this is just a happy customer comment. I looked at other brands, and even though the price jumped $50, still a bargain!

I feel your pain brother. Day light savings time this weekend, and not a day in the 40's yet!

Re: Matrix 380

I shot some with my 355 Matrix, no blow opens, but they did hit about 1" high and 1" right at 30 yards from my field points. These were 100 grain heads, and not the crossbow model. Hope this helps.

Re: Matrix 355 String Stretching

This was a problem for a spell, and seems to be resolved. I would contact Danny Miller first, then maybe consider a custom string. I don't want to speculate what issues caused them to stretch so much, but it is odd for endless loop strings to exhibit that amount of stretch.
