I try to hunt at least 3 days during the work week but as you mentioned its always a struggle to make it .when the time changes at the end of the month it gets even harder.everyone thinks being self employed you just do as you please and go hunting. I have no records that i keep but i but 70 percent of my bucks are the result of using a grunt.the week before halloween i step it up with the montana decoy. I shot the 150 snuffer before in the crossbow for being big it actually was pretty accurate. Guys just call jerry at south shore archery and ask for 50 grain inserts and shoot the 150s .or get the 80 grains and shoot the trick 125 or any 125 grain you want. You might want to just stay outta there till the rut. Ive been archery hunting for nearly 40 years and almost of my. p &y bucks are a direct result of the rut. I hunt my best spots sparingly till the week before halloween .....then i hunt like a s.o.b when there stupid

Hang in there buddy we had ol sandy ...no power for a week .she totally reshaped my woods couldnt recognize my home woods. With all the downed trees wildlife actually flourished with the new growth.
