Re: Guardian ADF Screws

Installed the Guardian ADF on the Exomax this evening. The original scope mount screws came out ok using the allen wrench included with the Guardian ADF. I used the new screws that came with the Guardian and they were no problem to tighten up using the allen wrench that came with them. Will keep all...

I have some stainless steel screws, I had to order 100 a few years ago, and should have some in my tackle box. Pm your address, I'll mail you some.
I found some locally. Thank you!!

Guardian ADF Screws

I ordered a Guardian ADF for my Exomax and thought I would replace the screws while I am at it. I searched here on the forum and couldn't find out what size they are. Anyone know what size they are?

Re: knife sharpener

Check out the Harbor Freight 1 x 30 belt sander Item number 60543. Several videos on You Tube about using it to sharpen knifes. I use one and my knifes have never been so sharp so fast!! Do a web search on using it to sharpen knifes for complete information. You do have to buy a few belts of differe...

Re: Exomax Limbs

Not to mention it is a very accurate crossbow and has been very dependable. Have killed 5 deer with it so far this year.

Exomax Limbs

I'm torn between just keeping the limbs on my Exomax instead of having them replaced. I did have a small splinter about 2 inches along the edge of one limb after a dry fire. I cut it off and sanded it smooth. It has not grown in size or changed in any way after the bow has been shot many times. The ...

Look who came calling!!

While I was away for the birth of another grandson this fella walked right underneath the tree I use my climbing tree stand in. https://i.imgur.com/Z2hTGhY.jpg https://i.imgur.com/lP0wa8V.jpg I spent 6 hours in my stand today and last evening and didn't see any deer. Only accessible by water so I ha...

Crossing the Fence

They are were you find them!! I have been hunting a small parcel of Corps of Engineer's land alongside a river. Only accessible by boat. I camp out in the boat to avoid having to navigate the river at night. No fun meeting large barges at night on a small river!! I hunt where a large creek and the r...

I wonder if you could order one and have it shipped to Danny for a good looking over and fixing?
I'd run it by him before purchasing it. Based on everyone's experiences with Danny I'd say yes.

Re: Portable Hunting Blind Waterproofing

I've never used this but it looks like it would work ok. Read the reviews. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001FYL2M/ref=asc_df_B0001FYL2M5175388?smid=A80VOUQ57EFM9&tag=shopz0d-20&ascsubtag=shopzilla_mp_1046-20;15113178776242218847310090301008005&linkCode=df0&creative=395105&creativeA...

Re: Ghost blind

Looks like it would be great to set up in front of my Doghouse ground blind when I can't set it up before the season. May help with ground blind shy deer. I will have a large creek on my left and a very deep ravine running directly behind me. Have killed 3 deer there this year already from a tree st...

Re: Portable Hunting Blind Waterproofing

I bought one of these and stretched it over my Ameristep Doghouse ground blind. Holds up well and don't have to worry about any leaks, etc.

Less expensive than having to spray the roof ever so often and very durable.

Re: Bargain Heads Up

With the exception of the missing parts wouldn’t any structural problems be covered by the Excalibur warranty? Every time I get the urge to buy a new crossbow I remind myself how well my Exomax has performed. Just put a new Twlight DLX on it and have killed four deer with it so far this year. Bill
